I didn't think the SAT was all that hard--the hardest part is maintaining the stamina to keep taking the test for hours and hours and not just throw the test booklet out the window, ahaha. Blargh, the SATs are so screwy. Studies have shown that kids who write longer essays tend to get better scores, even if the essay isn't that great. Take the ACTs, too, most colleges accept either or, or both, and I liked the math section on the ACTs better.
